First of all those cheap coilovers yoe can get under a hundred dollars they suck!!!!!!!!!! I just purchased some lowering springs from a company named dropzone. They are supposed to drop my focus 2.5" in the front and 2.0 inches in the back. However I don't see any difference. I installed them myself with a manual strut spring compressor. Should I expect them to settle in more or something. Or is there something important that maybe I didn't do. This just sucks because I feel like I wasted my money.

They probably have to settle, but you should be able to (eventually) feel a drop that large. Make sure that you have an alignment done, and I would strongly suggest that you get a set of adjustable camber bolts for all four wheels since you dropped it so much. That will help your tire wear out. HTH

Don't forget that engineers spent a lot of time getting the Focus to drive well with the stock springs. If you lower it and change spring rates, the 'better' ride may not ride better, especially on the street.

You definitely get what you pay for, and does anybody really want to trust their expensive car, or their safety, on $100 shocks?

damn i have a nice $300 spring strut combo that only drops 1in but you can tell, love the stiffer ride :)

you're never gonna get a good drop for that price. and i'd bet in like six months you have to relace it you'll be driving down the freeway and all of a sudden your entire suspension folds and you're bobsledding in your focus at like 65!!! lol

haha, funny thing is, i have the same coilovers in my focus, it didn't really drop it all that much, but what i did end up doing was taking out the adjusters, so i just have the springs on there basically... and it's low as fuck :D
