hand brake

I engaged my hand brake when i parked. AND NOW ITS STUCK!!!! Any Ideas to get it aloose? Im at school now so I need some helpful hints before 3:45 pm or I will be in serious trouble.

Did you try to push the button in and pull back another .5-1"? thats what works for me. Its a bit of a tough thing but the brake wont go down sometimes if I just push the button in.

push in the button, maybe a little bit past where it looks to be all the way in, try to lift the handbrake up a little bit while pushing the button a little more. that should work

if you are parked on a hill your gonna need someone to push towards what would be the incline of the hill while you disengage the park break, my ex had my car when i was in philly and she had to get some dude to help her get the parking break down and a guy with a camaro ended up getting it after other people tried and thats what he did, it cmae right down when he pushed on the car, he said something like the system locks when weight is pushing on the car from being on an incline, i guess it keeps the damn thing in a safty position so your car dont slip and roll
