brake question

I have AEM big brakes on my car and they've been squeaking a lot. Usually i can just turn up the music and it doesn't bother me. But when I cruise with my windows down i can hear it. Does anyone know anything I can do to stop them from squeaking or is that just something I have to deal with?

Is this the 4 piston caliper upgrade package? Did you break them in properly? How are the pads?

just check to see if the pads and calipers are set properly. does it sound like something is rubbing while you drive? how are they by the way? do you like them?

yes it is the 4-piston kit and I believe i broke them in right. I'll check the pads today. I know the pads are high performance but do u know approx. how long they are supposed to last?

Everything seem to be set properly and nothing is rubbing when I am driving, just when I hit the brakes. They're great though...you can definantely notice a difference. The only thing that sucks is haveing to deal with squeaking.

The pads have a little metal tab on them that is designed to rub against your rotor and make an annoying ass squeaking sound to let you know that your pads are getting low. Check it to see if that's it.
