I have a 99 gp se, and I have been smelling what I think is a coolant odor the last few days in my car. When I got out of my car I noticed coolant on my floor kinda puddled up underneath the break pedal. I was thinking it might be the heater core, any sugestions? no my shoes were not wet when I got in.:)

You are correct in your assessment of the problem. There is a leak in the heater core that will require the heater core to be replaced. You can purchase a new one and replace it yourself but I suggest that you get a repair manual that gives you specific directions on how to replace it before you try. Good Luck!

You are just going to keep losing coolant untill you can get it fixed. So make sure you keep an eye on the coolant level.

Looks as if they are about 100 buck's or you could buy one on-line from www.rockauto.com for 52.79 plus shipping.
