95 Prizm leaky valve cover

I have had a persistent problem with my 95 prizm 1.6L. It had a leaky valve cover and it had blowby. I got a valve job and everything was cool. Then all of a sudden it started leaking again and burning oil. I had to get the job done again and was told an oil control ring didn't set right and was causing this to happen. It got fixed once more in December and its not almost April 1st and it just started happening again today. I didn't drive the car for two days, then I drove it about 25 miles today and then parked it in my driveway for an hour. I came out and a spot of oil was on the ground. When I left and came back again I opened up the hood and there it was....oil coming out of the valve cover and into the rivets under the engine. I am so sick of this. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Found out today that whoever did my oil change overfilled my crankcase by about 1/2 quart.

I think I had something close to that happening to me. That deep hole were the plugs go was filled with oil the other day when I changed the plugs. I went down to the garage and asked about it and they said I had a bad valve cover seal near the plug. I'm not really sure what it is, but I will most likely replace it. The valve cover isn't all that hard to remove.

if they had to do the same job over again then the orignal problem was not correctly identified in the first place;
sometimes mechanics guess the problem hoping that it would produce the right fix-
not a good way to tackle a problem.
I seriously doubt the 1/2 qt. overfill caused all this.

Well its weird that it started leaking right after the oil change. They replaced the gaskets and they didn't start leaking again. Usually on my car when it was really bad, it would blow through gaskets like no tomorrow.
