car alarm/horn

My 95 kia sephia has a factory alarm and sometimes it will go off when I try to crank the car. I have to disconnect the battery cable and wait. The horn honks and lights flash. What is causing this and how do I stop it?? Also does anyone know where to disconnect the horn at??? THANKYOU..... : :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
