Fuel Pump Lines

I have an '86 Trooper II, 5sp, 4x4..2bb Carb.
I'm putting it back together after 4 years. The Fuel Pump seems to have 4 inlet/outlets. I only seem to have 3 hoses..1 from the fuel tank, 1 to the fuel tank (return) and 1 to the carb. Another outlet turns "down" from the top of the fuel pump. Is this the 'Return'? What connects here? What am I missing?
