Tires and chains

Hello,
I have a 95 blazer 4 door with stock suspension and need to know what is the largest most aggressive tire I can run and have chains on from time to time and still have clearance. And in actual driving conditions such as lava covered roads etc. I guess what I am trying to say I need these tires for real world conditions not sitting in traffic on the intersatate. Also does anyone know of a good source for engine/block heaters. I am moving to Iceland and taking the Blazer with.

P235/75r15's will be perfect and there is no need to go bigger.

There are several block heater makers on ebay and I recommend the oil pan ones myself, but I have no experience with them seeing my Blazer came with a block heater stock seeing I live in Canada.

Also, if you are going to Iceland, make sure to start using 0w30 oil for better cold weather starting.

Even when temps here were -40f, the truck started up with no problems with no block heater with the 0w30.

you can get a block heater from any parts store or dealer. i'm not sure how big a tire you can fit but i think 31's would fit nicely and are a little taller than stock. just don't cheap out on the tires personally i like BFG's. you might want to look into getting a diff locker if you're gonna be driving in extreme conditions.
