88 regal keeps dieing

Ive got an 88 regal 2.8 that keeps dieing.it does it when its cold and hot(i thought maybe it was the coils) and usually i can immediately restart it.and it isnt consistant enuff to find out if its getting spark.would this be the crank sensor or something else?

What happens when it dies? does it slowly die or does it immediately die with no hesitations, etc. You can pretty much rule out the crank sensor. When those go, they're gone for good.

it immediately dies, and sometimes it just wont start .i can go back in 2 minutes and its fine.when it is running i have tried running it hard and no hesitation .when it dies it just goes .someone told me try the ignition module under the coils.does that make sense?im new to this distributorless ignition.
