I have a 2004 KIA Sedona EX and am planning in putting a CD/mp3 player in the van and was wondering what kind of wiring kit would i have to get in order for it to work and all.. thanks in advance for the info.

You shouldn't need a wiring kit of any sort. Though you should be prepared to cut and splice the old wires into the new wires on your new radio. A pair of wire cutters, a knife, and some small wirenuts or lug nuts that you can get at home depo and some electrical tape would be all you need. It should come with a wiring diagram and take careful attention to notice what goes to what when you are disconnecting the old radio.
Depending on the size of the new radio, if it's different from the old one, you may need a car kit which you can get at best buy or any other place that sells radios. (possibly you would also need an attena adapter, but i think that is just a problem with GM cars.)

best buy should also have an adapter harness kit and you won't need to cut any wires
