I'm looking at a '86 Fiero SE 2.8 with an automatic trans., and I need to know what the gas mileage is because of the "high gas prices!"

That varies a good bit at this point inn their lives. I've heard everything from 18 mpg to the high 20's. There have even been claims of them gettting into the 30's, but that may have been downhill. :)

How bad is insurance on a 2.8 SE?

i'm 23 with spotless driving record. my insurance is approx. $260 every 6 months for full coverage with State Farm. i have '85 gt i would think the '86 se would be the same.

I'm 17 with a spotless driving record, but I live in Michigan. Geico wont even touch anybody in Michigan or under 18, and they probably have the cheapest insurance. The cheapest I can find is Progressive and that will be over $400 every six monthsfor just PLPD!

im 19 with 3 speeding tickets, and i pay 140 a month. granted that is for both my cars, liability only, with uninsured motorist protection. however, when i just had my truck, it was only 300 a year less, and that was without uninsured motorist. so pretty much, fieros are fairly inexpensive to insure
