which tires grip the best?

i have aftermarket 17inch rims on my honda prelude and ive pretty much worn the tires completly down, its time for new tires and i am going to mod it slightly to be a little faster so what tires in a reasonable price range will stick to the road the best. thanks -brandon

well, the new Azenis RT-615 is supposed to be out in 235/40/17 later this year, which is a bad ass tire which should also be pretty affordable. If it can't wait that long, there's the Michelin Pilot Sport (rediculously expensive, but also badass) and the Yokohama AVS Sport also available in that size.

AZENIS!!!! i had that on a DA integra and it was CRAZY !!but the tire seemed to wear too fast. i think it wa becasue of the cuircut racing i was doing, but yeah the falkens are good SH@#$T
