Hi all... Just wanted to see if anyone had the same problem with their current CRV.

I have a 2004 with 21000 miles on it, and had a tread separation from the rear passager side wheel last night. Tires always kept at 34psi and checked during oil change.

Lots of tread left, never went over any huge bumps or curb rub. They are Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684. I started warrantiy claim on it with Bridgestone, will see how it turns out...

Please let us know what happens.

I also have a 2004 EX and have about 15000 miles..... I'm not sure what tires I have. whatever they put on at the dealer.... I'll have to check.

I just got exact same thing when my CR-V is 25000 miles. The tire tread seperates with shoulder. I always keep the tire pressure as 26 Psi, which is suggested by owner manual.

I had catastrophic tread separation on the right rear tire of my 1999 Honda CRV. Tire was Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684 with approximately 12,000 on it. Proper air pressure. Firestone says that it was my fault because of either over inflation or under inflation. I am going to file suit. Are there any others out there with tire tread separations related to Bridgestone/Firestone tire products? Please contact me. Thanks.
