Coolant level escapades

I went to get Gasoline at the Shell station last night.I filled up,did the routine engine check....Washer fluid was low so i purchased some anti-freeze coolant and filled er' up. I put some dirty transmission fluid left over from my old transmission flush into it because i like the pretty colors it makes(green and red mixed together=Visual Bliss). After i started my car my coolant level gauge which is always a little bit past Normal was pissing me off. I went home and leveled the coolant flask with some distilled water,The damn Gauge still was beyond Normal...frustrated i went back inside and cryed for a few minutes and to make matters worse my G/F called and said her dog ran away....God i dont know what to do
