How do I find out my IP??

This may sound dumb, but I don't know how
The reason is: I have 2 comps, one with internet, one without. I want to use the crappy one on the net, so I networked it to the other. I used the network wizard from ME to tell the crappy one to access the net through the LAN, but it still won't work. So I was going to set the internet options to connect through a proxy, but I need my comps IP, right? (I haven't netorked before, can you tell?;) )

Choose Start -> Run.
Type "winipcfg" without the quotes.
All the required info should be in there.

Either of those will work depending on your version of Windows. Just try both.

You can easily find your ip address at ip-details.com (http://www.ip-details.com/) .Here you can get your ip address and latitude,longitude also.
that site tells me that I'm in Colorado, about a 12 hour drive from here

usually typing "what's my ip" into chrome will get you the information. If it's an IP that isn't your current location then do a WHOIS analysis - an SEOMOZ tool which is free.
