I receintly purchased a 1997 Buick Lesabre Limited. The Air Conditioner Fan stays on even after turning off the ignition and drains the battery. Any suggestions as to problem?

I assume by "Air Conditioner Fan", you really mean the air blower motor inside the car vs a radiator fan. The problem in either case is a stuck relay.
Both relays involved have a hard wired hot wire not controlled by the fuses/ignition.
The blower motor relay is found on the upper engine firewall under a plastic rain shield.
I believe the radiator fan relays are found on the inside driver side fender.

May I ask a follow-up question ?
My wife's car's A/C compressor is not coming on when she activated the system. I've found the fuse box under the dash, driver's left side, cannot find the other fuse box. I've been told that there are two boxes of them, in which each has an A/C fuse. I also cannot find the Relay for the compressor.
It goes without saying, your input is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AF
This thread is a bit old so you ought to start a new thread in the future and just link back to the old one :D
But onto the relay... the relay center was moved around every few years so is your car a 97 as well?
