The fastest Celica of the day was a st185 with some mods that did a 12.8 1/4 mile, forget what his terminal speed was. Fastest car of the day was a Scoobie stationwagon, huge mods, ran an 11.01. Fastest run of the day was a homemade drag bike, ran an 8.8 @ 156MPH. :eek:

A few shots from the GT4 owners group `Rally Slags` meet today, went to watch the Kielder Rally with some other mombers. Great day out, lots of fuel used (over $100 worth :rolleyes: ) Never mind, the perils of owning a GT4.

those are nice man you guys like 1st gends dont you. very unique. do you race them what do they run in the 1/4 mile.

When I first got the car running, out of two runs the best time was a 13.6@110. All stock, 7lbs of boost on street tires. This is the red Sr Celica.
Haven't run the F20C or the or Sr Celica.

Yeah we love the 1st gen Celica.

Hello guys, I had to join this board when I found out it had a section dedicated to Celica drivers. I'm going to become one really soon, soon as I get new tires and a horn so it can pass inspection. Should have the horn by next week, and then we've got the money for tires practically now. Anyway's here's my pics.

Yea man, I'm gonna get it taken care of ASAP. Here are the problems I think it has now, not too serious, but they're there.

-Needs new compressor for the A/C
-Dryrotted tires(taken care of)
-Horn malfunctions, works when it wants to(taken care of)
-PAINT
-Possible notch in the clutch, grinds if you try to go in reverse, but turn the car off then back on and it'll shift smoothly


Anything else is just stuff that I'd want in it :)

Oh, thanks Celica St, didn't know that. Do you know anything about the chassie, like does it have the same problem? Since you know it's something I'll probably run into when I'm doing a tear down of the car... that is when I get it =/

im pretty sure thats the first year celicas went from chassis to unibody

theres no real frame the body sits on, everything built togetrhter forms the body

A guy at GC rallyX had a first gen, said his weighs about 2700lbs, he has a fast back and it was with a 20R motor. He also got toysport headers, much nicer than LCEngineering, next time I'll remember to bring a camera =/. Next race I think is a week or two from now.

one w a manual tarnny curb weight was 2580

The last time that the Red SR was at the race track (1.5 years ago) it weighted in at 2700lbs. This is without the cage.
Both cars with the SR's are not gutted. It's got full interiors. The F20c one has full interiors also minus the bottom back seat.

As Blakscorpion sai I live in the UK....The rolling road results arnt quite as high as I was wanting but not far off....she officially stands at 296.3BHP (was hoping for more than 300 :( )

Current mods include

Full 2.75 inch stainless exhaust
3" Decat Pipe
Apexi AVC-R boost controller (set at 0.9 & 1.1 bar)
Full TRD discs and fast road pads
Eibach springs -30mm
New Rear diff mount
boost guage
oil temp guage
other bits not worth listing.

More to come :) Including a secret mission to nick blaksrorpions wheels :iceslolan what are they bud???

lol, u like the wheels.theyre 17s, 6 spoke, im not sure the brand but the guy i got them from said they were adr. the center cap says either race battle or racing battle, i think. got them off ebay for 280 including tires. :)

Sounds really nice when I open it up:evillol: I plan on upgrading the entire exhaust system but I gotta fix a few things first:banghead: . I want a body kit, but I don't want one that makes it look stupid. The only kit I really like is the action package lol.
That and the vader kit because it doesn't look that bad on 7th gens as it does other years.

I actually have a preatty big problem though, i had a run in with a piece of ice that fell of a truck, and now the place that my insurance wants me to take it too is saying the grill is NOT factory. I bought it from the original owner, and he made no mention of modifying the grill, but disclosed everything else:dunno:

So what i am asking is, does anyone have a pic of the front end of a 2002 GTS with action package? I need to know if it is or is't factory before i go and try and rip this guy a new one.

EDIT: the grill right now has a spacing of about 7/8" from the peak of the diamond shape to the other peak

beutiful car man, that looks like the stock action package to me. maybe he was talking about the mesh grill? insurance companies are crooks.

yea i love the action package, it is expensive though isnt it. but it makes the car look twice as good imo.
