Not trying to be a dick, but I think this information is wrong. The b16a2

1.6L USDM DOHC VTEC 93-97 DelSol VTEC/99-00 Civic Si 160hp

If it has 170horse its the jdm motor, but jdm motors don't have a number have the a in the engine code...

I think you mean the JDM motors don't have the number designation after the "A". Like the motor in your sig picture. ;)

Also, I think the USDM motor are underrated at 160. They always dyno quite strong for a 160hp motor and I think 170 is closer. They have slightly more agressive cams and a better intake manifold design than the 160hp 1st gen.

well money really isnt that big of an issue since i will be building the engine of the next 4-6months... So just a good engine that i can tune up. Also be able to take it to the track and have a quick track car.

honestly I would get a B16a, way cheeper, plus its Cable, If you want some more juice, build an LSVtec....excellent bang for buck.

Im building a 12.5:1 B18a, and its not worth it....I'll probably be about $1500-1800 for just then engine once its done.

Was it so hard to just let me try to inform someone of something? I seriously wasn't trying to be a dick, just trying to inform someone of something...

And neither the b16a2 or b16a3 produced 170 horse.

And blu civic, I do belive that line was also used in Triple X with Vin Diesel...
