Anyone have any experience painting? Looking for a relatively inexpensive paint gun for painting my race bike. I've seen a couple at Northern Tools and Harbor Freight, but not sure what I need. Will I need to change tips for painting primer, paint, clear? Was considering this gun http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=90977 any thoughts? Previously I used Krlyon or paid someone to spray it, but looking at in sourcing with better results than Krylon.
Thanks,
Keith

The gun I use is a IWATA LPH-400 it is around $400-450though. You can find a good one for around $100-150. Basically the biggest factor in getting a good finish is technique. Have you used a gravity feed gun before?
Also primer is more corrosive than base coat and clear coat so if you are planning on using it a lot and want to keep it working to the best of it's potential I would recomend something like the one you linked to for a primer gun, unless you are needing to use high-build or 2K primer.

Have never painted before other than Krylon cans. I'm not looking for a perfect paintjob here just something a bit better than Krylon. I was looking for an all purpose gun. what size nozzle would work for all-around?

Matrix has good cheap basecoat/clearcoat.
Probably the best finnish for your money if you dont want to go all out.
