lsd or Vlsd?

Found the rear end from a 95-97 240sx, Didn't get a good look at the car but it is an SE and the guy wants $200 for the rear end, how can I tell if it is Vlsd or just Lsd? or that it is even LSD cause it might not have came out of that car it is just laying behind it and the car doesn't have any rear suspension. Is it worth the $200?

Well it won't be an lsd unless it's been modded, it's either a vsld or an open diff.

Look at the case. Should have a sticker that says R200V or someting. Or turn on side and see if the other turns as well.
