Favorite racing?

Which is your favorite...

I'm all about some WRC (World Rally Championship)! Gotta love Evo's and Scoobies!

I will sometimes watch F1 and on occasion I will watch Le Mans.

I like it all, NASCAR to bikes.

The only racing I don't really care for is powerboat racing.

Rally definetly! I never understood NASCAR. I just don't see the joy from driving around a ring in the same direction for a couple of hours. I mean i know it takes skill to drive in the close conditions when theres like 50 cars on the track when your going that fast, but i don't see how anyone could stand to watch it for more then a lap or two.

Oh yeah, and for no reason whatsoever, hurrah to me for my 100th post!

GO MITSUBISHI / RALLIART

I love Lancers, but Scoobies are my second favorite, especially since Mitsu is having a lot of trouble with their cars this season. The Peugot 206's are pretty cool, but they don't look half as mean as that blue turbocharged WRX breathing fire down your neck!

Also, I can't stand NASCAR. I think that most people just watch it for the crashes. For me, rallying is the ultimate in racing.

almost a tie between F1 and Rally... but i voted F1

I voted F1, but I also enjoy watching Rally.

I voted rally, but alms and F1 is definately up there too. but there is nothing more i hate than NASCAR. yesterday there was 6 hrs straight of the crap on the speed channel. i wish this country would get more into rally than NASCAR.

any racing that has more than left hand turns, and i think drag racing is kinda lame too....anyone can press a pedal to the floor...it takes real skill to turn and throttle and brake :D :D :D

(personally I run Autocross and am race prepping a CRX, and a rally lancia :) )

I wish it were JGTC, but alas... no coverage save for the internet... :cry:

I like GT racing. Le Mans, ALMS, mini-leages, SCCA coverage, whatever... :) I just like seeing "real life" cars on the track.

I like 'em all and then some, but gusess which one I voted for :D

Man you get speed chanell. All I get here in campus is 14 crappy chanels and no racing whatsoever. :zx11pisse

And yes you are right i cannot get Nascar either. F1 and rally are by far the best races.

secondly i did not vote in the poll.. i like almost all types of racing

it was too tough to decide between F1, Rally, and CART.. so i just took the easy route and didn't vote :D

my overall fav type of racing is showroom stock.. its the most interesting

GT are fully race-prepped cars based on production vehicles

showroom stock is.. well.. production vehicles, prepped very, VERY minimally (usually just safety & some suspension/engine mods, and alternate brake pads, but they are stock brakes, stock suspension geometry, stock engine with very limited performance mods.

grab about 50-70 cars ranging from civics & hyundais & cavaliers to corvette Z06s & vipers & 911 Turbos all on the same course and you are in for an interesting experience :)

Well I voted Rally, but I'm really for JGTC and Brit/European GT racing.

Anything apart from that stupid Aussie excuse for motor sports the V8 touring cars:uhoh:

Used to enjoy watching NASCAR but now SKY don't show it:( we get buggerall motorsport on NZ TV

Favorite race has to be the race for the Stanley cup:cool: :p

Aussie V8 Supercars and Dragracing

Rally and F1 are by far the most interesting to watch.

Nascar is all about strategy and setup, when to pit, how much fuel, tires, etc. But is boring as hell to watch.

Drag racing too, it takes skill to control all the power of a top-fuel drag car, but watching a three second race is just no fun.

Watching guys race small, over-powered cars on snow/gravel/tarmac courses that they are not familer with, within an inch of tractional limits and beyond, it doesn't get any better! WRC!

and yeah, pugot is doing really well, but I still favor the subie. :)

For me its a choice between NASCAR and Rally. They are so different from each other, but whenever either of em is on I'll watch it, thank god for speedvision and EPSN2, or I'd never get to see any rally at all. But I had to vote for NASCAR just cause.:cool: :devil: :D

I like Rally, F1, Le Mans, and NASCAR in that order. NASCAR is only fun to watch on road courses and when they have crashes.

Well, out of the choices, I had to say F1. However, what I really want to see more of, cause what I have seen is awesome, is the Japanese Grand Touring Cars. Skylines, Supras, NSXs, Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, Mclarens......... yeah baby :D

first and foremost rallyin....:D then touring car races and F1....:)

I live in Hickville Alabama so eveything is NASCAR and Drag Racing but I really like Rally I need to move to Japan :coolguy:
