Annoying Sound

Hey i got a 1993 mazda 626 v6 automatic. Here's the problem when i accelerate one of the pulleys on the alternator belt will give a slight humming sound. It's noticable when driving. I tried lubricating the pulleys and using drive belt treatement but im still getting the same sound. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so can this lead to something else. The sound is hard to hear but once you hear it i think you would also find it questionable.

i have a 96 626. i was getting a sqeaking nosie form my belts. i replace both belt and the noise was history :grinno:

i dont think the problem is the belts exactly i think it has something to do with the pulleys pulling the belt. As i said before its making a light humming not a screech.

i got 93 mazda 626.. i think its ur berring inside ur pulley,the inside small berring not spinnig well... take ur (pully/tensioner) out & see if the inside small berring spin smouthly..If not u need a new berring or new set of pully/tensioner...gl
