the window comes off the track nearly everytime i roll it down, unless i roll it down, up an inch, and roll all the way down. autozone and advance auto parts both said i have to replace the entire track, i dont think i have to. i think it can jsut be fixed with something that jsut ensures the window doesnt come off the track, any ideas? taking off the door is getting annoying

You do have to replace the run channel, better do it before it need a window regulator too. Honda's are known for bad run channels and reg's.

you can yionk off the door panel, and "adjust" the tracks (sort of) adjust the bolts that hold the channels. lossen them, and just try to look in there and see the best "fit" and tighten accordingly. i had to do it to my 96 ex, and it has worked well so far. also, grease up the gears inside. i used a toothbrush with heavy grease on the bristles. just snake it in there, and lube up all the scisssors/moving parts.
good luck....
