Beat 94 z28 camaro

Few weeks ago I raced a heavily modded 94 z28 camaro.... was about a car length in front of him in the quarter mile. my 03 V6 accord is totally stock (around 240-250 hp). ended up gettin pulled over (yea shoulda bought the radar detector) but at least i got the satisfaction of beatin the "american muscle car)

I am sorry but the Z28 was not racing you, heavily modded would blow your doors off and unmodded would still beat you pretty good.

Unless the camaro was shifting at 2k, then there's no way you beat one in a fair race.

Sure it was not a v6 with dual pipes and some z28 badges?

It was either a V6 Camaro, or he wasn't racing you.

lol..the thing that kills me about the racing forum is most the time when it's somebody claiming to have beat a fast car (like a z28 camaro) it's usually a person with like 1-5 posts. :loser:

And I'm just assuring you what everyone else said was true..a z28 would have smoked you.

First post - I drive a 95Z. I don't know a whole lot about accords but my guess is that he probably wasnt racing you and/or saw the cop ahead too ;) If this guy was a "heavily modded 94 z28 camaro" you would been many cars back...
A lot of V6 camaro guys put on the Z28 badge (god knows why :screwy: ) so maybe it was one of them which is also likely.

I've had my car 4 or 5 years now and have personally seen LOTS of people think they are racing when i'm just going at 30 or 50% throttle.. In our cars the cupholder sucks and I was holding a slurpee... an older honda hatchback pulled up beside me at a light and proceeded to "race" the guy, while I holding a slurpee in one hand and just giving her a bit of throttle ;) was quite funny (from my perspective ;) )
