Can someone please provide me with detailed, step by step instructions on how to remove the driver and passenger side A/C vents without breaking them?

ahh this brings back some bad memories  well ive pulled a few out without braking them before, i used a small flathead screwdriver (eye glass ones) just REALAX and take your time going around the edges and clips untill they come out  BUT im sure some other members have some safer ways

step one - buy new ones from dealer
step two a - use a big hammer and smash old ones out
step two b - if no big hammer is available, use big screw driver and pry out
step three - install new ones from dealer

hope that helps... if not use someone elses more logical idea :) hehe
i tend to break them when taking them out, always good to practice on a car thats not urs.... i.e. junkyard :)

ust a rag or something so you dont crack the dash (or have a chance of doing so) or scratch anything

Thanks for the info folks! I will do my best not to break them. Hope to go to a local junk yard to practice first.....

Do most of the prying near the curved part. It's thicker and harder to break.
