I have a 99 GTP with 95k on it. Car runs great and doesnt have any probs. Im running a 3.4 inch pulley, CAI, TB spacer, DHP pcm, along with delco 41-932 platinum plugs. I was wondering if there was any routine things that i should to at this mileage point such as clean out the supercharger, replace the coupler, decarbonize, etc. I also was wondering if it would be a good idea to switch to mobil 1 oil at this point to kinda clean the motor out a little bit. Or would just show me where my engine leaks? Ive wanted to swicth to synthetic for a while but i know it cant be as simple as just putting in differnt oil. If anyone could throw me some advice id really appreciate it. Thanks

Certainly a s/c oil change is in order. Wouldn't worry about the coupler unless it's making excessive noise. Would also recommend changing the trans fluid/filter depending on if/when it was last done. Switching to synthetic oil past 60,000 miles can sometimes be a problem, but I know many of us have done it without problem.

ok thanks alot for your help. What do you think about cleaning out the SC altogether. When i had the throttle body off to install the spacer it didnt look so clean in there. Is it worth my while? That and the SC does seem to make a noise at idle so i think ill be changing out the coupler pretty quick. Just changed the SC oil at 85k though so it should be reusable. Let me know what u think. And are autolite 104s 1 heat range colder? or 2?
