2005 Accord EX: handsfree system?

Hello.
Want to install a handsfree system in my new 2005 Accord EX. Have a few questions:
1. The handsfree system I will be getting has a "telemute" or "mute line" for connection to the car's audio system. Where and how do I connect this to my Accord's (non-nav) audio system? Apparently it mutes the audio system and pumps the phone conversation out the audio system's speakers.
2. Where is the best spot to mount the microphone? Most people put it on the A-pillar but with side curtain airbags, I don't exactly want a microphone flying at me because I mounted it in the deployment path.
If anyone has had any success installing a handsfree system on a 2004/2005 Accord, please post experiences and photos. Also would like to see a photo/diagram of the back of the audio system, so I can try to figure out where to plug in my handsfree kit.
