crx thread

Message from the Admin, regarding current forum events. (03-24-2005 until 05-01-2005)

Dear Members.


Igor and Jacob are both currently very busy, and have asked me to post this on their behalf.

Due to some breaches in the Automotiveforums guidelines several members have been banned. Unfortunately several of these members were also moderators.

While the regular members concerned have been permanently banned, the moderators have placed on a temporary restricted ban pending the out come of an internal investigation.
This prevents them from posting in the forums, and removes their moderating powers, but still allows us to communicate with them in an effort to resolve the issues at hand.

Anything pertaining to what happened has since been removed from public view, and I believe all parties involved have been contacted.
However if you did witness any behavior by a moderator that did seem unusual, or to go against the Automotiveforums user guidelines then please contact either myself via a PM, or another mod via PM or email.

I ask everyone to be patient pending the outcome of the investigation, there is no need to get upset over what has happened.

The support offered to several of the banned moderators has been noted, and is being taken into consideration.

With patience and time I’m sure these issues can be resolved to everyones satisfaction.

I was banned by the moderater named FormulaLT1 for saying gay and then he insulted me..

Good for you. I'm sure you deserved to get banned, as you do now as well. Just too bad that the mods will probably all get a slap on the wrist and that will be the end of it (not that I even know what they did but I'm assuming it's the same old same old). But oh well... bye bye dumbass :D
