import engine from japan 3000gt vr-4 twin turbo

Hey eveyone i need some info from any one that has it does any one know how much it will cost to ship a motor and trany in from japan? more inportently then that does any one know how much the duty and custom is going to cost? even a guess? i have no idea myself but i think i found the engine i want!!(its beautiful) every one respond to this if you have any info also let me know if any of you have done it before?

that is a cool site but still that short block is 3 grand i can get an engine with 35k miles with trany and turbos actualy it is the hole clip for 3k plus shipping,duty and customs then i have double just about every thing and i can sell them... that is my thoughts on y i would do that

sorry i reread my thing and i ment that it is 3k after shipping i just need to pay the duty and customs(i still have know idea how much that is????) also i dont mean to sould like i am trying to change your minds about what is better to do i really have know idea all i know is that i have about one day to figure it out!!! any more sugestions please let me know!! thanks

i found out that shipping and engine from japan would cost $380 for it to pass customs however if you want to by the hole front clip it cost just under $900. so no i am looking again for a 3000gt vr-4 motor with low miles! any one that has one or now where one is let me know thanks

Yeah ebay i there is a clip on ebay for a 3000gt vr4 that is located in like florida or somthing but it has 79000 miles and i want somthing with lower miles shipping from there is not as much s from japan
