Question about standard cd player

Picking up a 2005 Honda Civic SE Sedan tomorrow and I'm wondering if the cd player can handle either cdrws or non-finalized cds? In the brochure it's just listed as *High Powered Stereo with CD-Player*.

I guess I should ask since I'm not much of an audiophile.. how is this stereo anyway? Does it have any power or bass at all?

Thanks in advance.

MOST all CD players can read CDRW's and MP3 CD's. it should work fine

probably won't read an MP# CD, but it should have no problem reading a burnt audio CD.. my stock honda headunit (99 accord) has no problems.. and I have'nt seen a deck unit that won't read them.. although some CD players don't like the black CD-R's you can get..

The player should be able to read CD-Rs burnt with audio cd data just fine, assuming you use quality media.

CD-RWs are probably less likely to work right, but you can always try. Some players aren't as picky and will read basically anything with a track index and cda data.

Yeah, the CD-Rs should be a problem if they're in the standard .wav format, unless you use some no-name off-brand discs or some retarded software to burn them. As far as CD-RWs, probably not gonna work, different technology. And you can forget about the MP3 discs.
