This is my first post but Im having a problem with my 87 200sx (2.0) and I need some help. The problem is while driving it if you give it anywhere from 70-100% throttle the engine basically stalls and the rpms drop until you lift on the gas some and it engages once again but if once the rpms drop off and you never take your foot off it acutally dies completly. Now just about 2mths ago I just replaced the dist. cap, rotor button, wires and plugs so Ive ruled them pretty much out. But it seems electrical Im guessing. Hopefully someone has had this problem because other than that this car is a great car to put miles on and gets pretty good mileage. Thanks alot guys,
Travis

Maybe the injectors are dirty and just can't put out that much fuel.

Thanks for the sugestions.....
Well now along with the other problem, when you have the gas mashed at any spot below full throttle it will no longer rev above 3800rpms. When it hits that spot its like it hits a stutter box or rev limiter. Still whgen you mash it full throttle it cuts complelty out...
More suggestions please!
Thanks,
Travis

I think its just signs that a car is 18 years old and is starting to show its age and wear and tear. Wait till nissanfanatic sees this. He should be able to help.
