Removing wheel/speed sensor from Hub Assy

I have a 94 Galant LS and the repair book states that I need a specialty tool MB991248 socket. I searched the web for that particular socket and found no reference to that tool. What is the best way to remove the sensor? I'm guessing the sensor is located in front of the hub behind the what looks like a cap, but don't want to do damage to the hub if I'm wrong.
