Well I finally got my Jimmy up on ramps to take a good look at what was leaking, turns out my oil cooler lines are fine but discovered a worse problem. My front differental is leaking from all three seals. So my question is do I have to take the diff right out of the truck? Or can I change them right underneath the truck without removing it?

Gotta remove it... Not that difficult... About an hour to remove it for a 1st timer... Use a jack to lower it though, and use wood on the jack, the walls of the casing on those are fairly thin...

make sure to check the vent for the front diff.

I suppose the vent being clogged created enough pressure to blow the seals?
I'm assuming a shop would be expensive for this type of job?

by repairing the vent, you might stop the leak altogether.
I have yet to hear about people blowing all three seals at once.

Well were the drive shaft comes into the diff. it is leaking badly and the left and right seals have a very small leak. How do I clean the vent? Thanks for any tips.
