2004 dodge ram drivers power door lock

Is there some type of code to enable or disable the drivers side power door lock. Mine stops working evry once in a while. I have to keep locking and unlocking the doors several times to get the drivers side to catch and start working again. Please help this is annoying. Or, should I take it back to the dealer?

My drivers side door lock quit working, when it went out so did the Ram Lock for the tailgate, couldn't open the tailgate at all, even with the Ram Lock switch turned off. The dealership said the Actuator for both locks had gone out.
