Great quality, excellent price for 3 inches of lift, I have ran it for 3 years trouble free:

@ILETEMGO Did you buy the spacers or the whole kit?

I bought the kit with Rancho RS5000's. The Ranchos are very stiff but that's what i wanted. Buy the Bilstiens if you want a softer ride. Some people complain about the add-a-leaf in the rear, but I have wheeled the crap out of mine with no problems.

How much money do you want to spend, size tires and amount of lift. Spacers are the cheapest way.
Daystar, cornfed, toytec, Donohoe, and revtek. check out customtacos.com go to tech section then FAQ. check out guide for lifting. It will tell you all the pros and cons. good luck.

I'm looking at 285/75R16 tires on Eagle Alloy 1879 16x8 rims
I want about a 3" lift to clear 32's.

I'm looking at revtek spacers and also the fabtech stuff. I have read and printed out the customtacos article.

I would say $300 - $500 tops for the lift w/o labor. The rims and tires are the expensive part.

Try wheelersoffroad.com for Revtek. No sales tax. Gary is very knowledgable. Stay away from blocks. Extended shackles are fine but the leafs flatten out under heavy loads. Add a leafs and leaf packs are the way to go. If you want the best ride, go with donohoe coil overs with camburg upper control arms. expensive but worth the ride. They recommend staying 2.5" and under for longevity. I currently have daystar spacers. They are okay, but you get what you pay for. I've been thinking of going with donohoes or doing the SAS modification. $$$$$$$$$$

personally don't waste time skimping with the cheap ideas, best thing is to invest in an adjustable coilover, fabtech , king coilovers , swayaway all have bolt in sets that run from 600-900 bucks that gives you the option for future changes without having to purchase something else and throwing away what you started with, like my truck i started with the fabtech ones at first with add a leaf in the rear, year or so later i wanted more lift up front to go prerunner style so i got 1 inch uniball upper a-arms and front diff spacers from total chaos fabrication (30 bucks) to lower the front diff reducing the angle on the cv shafts so i could crank down on my coil overs, without these they recommend not lifting over 2 inches over stock due to extremme angles causing buckling and damage to your cv joints and the new a- arms provided better travel and strength. also the allow the front suspension to fully cycle without extreme changes in your wheel camber keeping your tire tread flatter on the surface plus it looks kick ass, whatever you do don't waste your money lifting blocks or drop-down bracket style lifts, lifting blocks add to wheel hop in the rear. and drop down brackets do nothing for performance cause thier desighned to maintain factory travel and ride and they are expensive(1300-1700 bucks) on average

Well the other day I went out for quotes on lifts from local dealers. One quoted $1200, and the other quoted over $4000 for a 4" lift? Is that normal?

i have a 2000 tacoma and the suspension is still stock and i am running a 32 11.50 tire on a 15in wheel with no problems with rubbing. donahue racing.com makes a real nice suspension kit that will raise the truck a few inches and even it out. the only problem is its costs a bit much.
