i have gutted the back end of my interior. even cut out the auto seatbelts. (10lbs each) and now i have some questions...
i found a box...it's located on the passenger side wall where your arm sould rest if you sat in the back seat. it's about 8 inches x8x1inch thick. it's got a few wire harnesses going into it and the sticker say don't touch anything! well, not exactly. the only thing i recognize on it is the symbol NEC. meaning the company name that makes computer crap. Also: can i remove my AC compressor without effecting my belts. and what about the radiator? i only see one and there are 2 fans. and suggestions. or somewhere i can read about it. thanks again for the tips

I would definatly keep both fans on the radiator. I'm sure they are important. More than likely if you remove the a/c compressor from the car, you will have to get a shorter belt. Taking off the actual compressor is kinda like an extreme version of an underdrive pulley, it removes some heavy drag on the engine.
I have no idea what that box could be.

Yeah don't know about the box, but the fans are one for cooling and one for your ac. He is right about the belt, you will have to get a smaller belt. That will get you in the auto parts store a few times. What you can do is when you get rid of the AC you can take that other fan and wire is to a switch so if you want to turn it on, like on a hot day or just wanna cool your car of faster you can turn it on by hand.

The box depending on your car is actually for the ABS computer.
Your car utilizes both fans because you have a oil temperature sending unit, b18b doesnt. some people remove the fans, not wise for you. Your issue will be this. Unless you run with the ac on, the other fan will not turn on. It is an overkill fan for the ac to maintain the temperature of the fluid.
If you remove the ac, you may remove the ac cooling fan. If you are looking to gut the car, I would say, remove the ac condensor/bracket/hosing/behind the dash is a shit ton of yubing and ventilation along with a heater core etc. All of which may be removed, unless you want heat.
You will not need a belt to replace the ac belt as they are all independant from one another. Most people remove the ac and ps both for less drag. Removing the ps and ac belts alone make a significant difference for the car.
Good luck

ac fan should be an driver side but it weighs 2pounds and helps your car stay cool wich make it perform a lot better on a hot day than the 2 pounds will just wire it to the other fan and they will work together
