auto lag!!!! what can i do?

:banghead: so i have a 91 gsx and it is fast as shit after i get going about 25 mph.. it is an automatic (wich sucks!!) and i have turnd my boost up and power braked but nothing i mean i take off slow.... i also have a 96 hyundia accent (p.o.s.) that gets me off the line and pulls ahead till about 15 MPH then the gsx kills it. i am in the middle of rebulding a 3000gt vr-4 also (fun fun). i am considering putting a gsx motor and trany in my hyundia for fun to haha :rofl: . it would be funny. anyway if you have any idea of how to loose some turbo lag please do tell!

Just curious... what did you crank your boost up to?
Is it a stock turbo? Do you have an aftermarket boost guage? The more info you give us the more help we might be able to give to you.....
Go to your USERCP and put a list of things in it like year/make/model... modifications done to it... hell, even a pic or two...a catchy little phrase/slogan... whatever...

And for the record... just cause it's an auto doesn't mean that it sucks... some of the fastest most consistent times are done with auto trans....maunual is just a little more fun!! lol

ok so he has an upper intercooler pipeing, k&n intake, boost controllerk, 255 gas pump, 550cc inj., 3" turbo back no cat, strut bars, and drilled sloted rotors. dont have an after market boost gauge and yes i now it is not smart! :) i took off my ac belt and it takes off a bit quicker but it is still shity i cant launch worth crap! i recently put a big16g ported turbo on the car but blew it really quick you can find a thread on that if you want. when i put that on it took off ok but not great. i also found out that the 14b turbo i had on there had a huge crack through the wast gate.http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/31958414b_turbo.jpg i am thinking that there might be a small boost leak somewhere???
