00 Won't run unles 1/4 of the way warmed up....

I am having trouble with my 2000 V6, 3.8L Camaro. For some reason, it will shut down, or go into safe mode if I try to drive it without it being 1/4 of the way warmed up. Once it gets there it runs great, just lost on trying to figure out what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like a problem with the system that controls the idle and the fuel/spark when you first start up the car. Unfortunately I don't know much about how to find problems there, hopefully someone else around the boards will be able to give you more insight than I can.
