just bought a 91 eagle talon for a 100 bucks, knew the guy it ran great a few months ago
car died out on him so i bought it, but ran into some trouble
it turns over fine, its getting fuel, so my first guess is the coil pack is bad
but there is a fuse under the dash that keeps blowing, its a dead short it pops the second another touchs it
my problem is, i don't know what the fuses under the dash protect, don't know where it goes or if it can be tied into ignition some how
Id hate to replace a $243 coil pack for nothing
if you can help, thanks

Look on the back of the fuse box cover to see what the fuse is... or look through a haynes or chiltons to see what it is. Once you know, we might be able to try and isolate the issue.
