Code 32 problem and some other issues

Hi there,
I own a 89 Safari and live on Aruba. Unfortunatly the GSM/Chevy dealer on Aruba has the intellectual capacity of a palmtree (no offence to palmtrees ofcourse!) therefor I have to take care of the minor issues that occur driving my car.
Since I'm no mechanic, but have two functioning hands, I've decided to service my car, and take care of other annoyences that came up.
Well, here's the list of troubles:
=======
Code 32 Service Engine Soon. I've got a Chiltons manual, but I just cannot find the EGR. I did check all vacuum hoses I could find, and found some of them in really bad shape. These I will replace, but I also found a (to me unknown) device with something that looks like a connector for a tube. Except there is no tube nearby.
=======
When the engine is warm, it starts running worse. Idle speed is ok, it even runs normal during idle. It feels as if both airco's are switched on, except they are not. There's a nasty vibration while driving. The car gives me kinda like a hummm while driving. I even removed the fuses for the airco to make sure there's no shortwire that could switch on the aircocompressor by itself. No cure.
=======
The coolingwater is in the expansion canister is really dirty. It's like rusty water with gum in it. The fluid in/at the top of the radiator was dirty as well.
So I started to flush the cooling system to find out that most of the radiatorfluid was clean/clear. I'm not sure this is really a problem, it just surprised me. The car does not use a lot of oil, and the oil is normal. The car doesn't smoke either (nor white or blue)
=========
To make it a bit easier to understand I made some pictures of the devices I did not understand and put them on: http://www.toebab.com/gallery/Safari
Could someone please please help me out or give me more info?
This message has also been posted on the Safari forum.
Thanx in advance.
Enno
p.s. I know the engine looks really bad with all the dust and sand, but Aruba happens to be a sandy/dusty island. Some roads are still dirtroad.

Sounds like your dealers are not much different than here, except here they don't even try. Anyway the EGR valve is pictured, find it and make sure it's plugged in. Might take it out and clean the little pintle and seat, make sure it will push open. Your other problems sure sound like a failing fuel pump to me. Might try a new fuel filter and if it helps some but still not right, time for a new pump maybe. Could be other things too though, ignition would be another guess. Hope you get it figured out.

That EGR should be located on the intake manifold, on the passenger side, near the TBI unit.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Got the EGR valve. The damn thing is located behind the distributor. Tomorrow I will clean it. Missing tube has been solved as well.
Thanx already
