fuel pressure

Can some one tell me how to check the fuel pressure on a 2000 KIA sportage? It doesn’t have a shredder valve that I can find and no lines that I can get to easily

Correct, there is no valve to tap into the fuel line with a pressure gage.

Per the FSM: disconnect the fuel injector side of the fuel filter and connect pressure gage directly to the fuel filter. Nominal pressure should be about 42 PSI.
