On my 98 Altima, responding to the check engine light revealed a code of P1105. Automotive shop is saying that I need to replace the MAF sensor. My Nissan book is saying that I need to check the Manifold Absolute Pressure / barometric pressure switch solenoid valve. Unfortunately I cannot find a reference to the MAP sensor in the Nissan book. Appreciate any help

You might have overheated and caused a pressure build up. Have the sensor cleared at autozone or disconnect both terminals of the battery for a few hours to make sure you clear all stored codes. If it does not come on within the first hundred miles it was just a temp condition check all your fluids and give it some tlc on the tune-up side

I am not sure this is an overheat condition since it showed up quite sometime ago - after I had the clutch changed out. The shop that did the repair said the check engine light was strange to them since the code read it to be an issue with an automatic transmission. Neither they nor I resolved the problem until I had emissions tested.
Is there a chance the hoses on the solenoid valve could have been accidentally switched?
