editing posts?

This looks about as good a place as any to ask this...

While I'm not terribly new here, I was concerned about the edits to my posts. Being mostly brain damaged, I post suggestions... then after thinking about them, i realize something I said was dumb, unintelligible, or just wrong. so i edit. I try to do this mostly in the preview, but sometimes (on rare occasions) I have found myself editing a longer post as many as five or six times for better clarification, or if moments later I suddenly think of something else...

My question: Does every edit pester the fool out of someone's email if they are subscribed to that post? ie- they get an email for every time I edit?

Hi cbek, I can't answer your question about e-mail notification but I can say that I think if more members were as concerned as you about their posts this would be an even better site. A quick view of your past responses shows a lot of thought and insight. If you are brain damaged then we must have some dead people posting around here!

To answer your question no they don't get an email unless someone else posts a new reply, if you were to delete your post and then post a new one then it would email people who are subscribed.

You certainly don't want to bow to me! I still tap on stuff myself... and sometimes break it! :lol2: Anyways, now you have the answer to your question so you can edit away!
