Need Advce!!!!

hey guys whats up im trying to help my lil brother on gettting a car we saw a gsr shell for 800 dollars thats as much as he has. Im willing to give him my swaped out motor it came out of a 94 civic ex coupe i believe its the d16y6 i was wondering if this is posibble for now to swap the sohc in the gsr body????? is it a straight drop in or what do i need?????? plz help me out

gsr is a b series check out hasport for b to d series motor mounts.

that i wouldnt know, check the motor mounts see if they'll line up.

It's the D16z6 motor, and in a GS-R it will be slow as hell. He'd be better off getting even an LS engine.
And no a b-series swap into a Civic is not a straight drop in swap. It's pretty close but you still need parts to get it in.

OK OK OK if i we buy an LS motor will the gsr ECU and wiring harness work on an LS i know the ecu has vtec but still just wonderin.
