Ok i have a turbo xs dual stage boost controller (manual) and a Blitz bov w/ an autometer boost guage.I pulled the vacum hose off the turbo pressure sensor to run 15pounds exactly. Heres my lil problem .... 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear i boost up to 15psi and around 4500 to 5000 rpm it starts to drop slowly down to 12psi?? I have know idea whats going on i have checked all the vaccum lines to the wastegate and turbo and the boost guage they all look good. The car still feels as if its pulling 15 but its kinda hard to tell the diference when it slowly drops down in the higher rpm. The car as always stayed at 15psi before this started happening. Any answers will help please! thanks guys

im not sure but this could be a problem.
its just boost falling off. it happens when u have a manual boost controler cause u cant set the start boost and gain and all that good stuff. thats y electric boost controlers cost so much. i run 15 psi and it does not fall off.

manuals are just as good the only difference is preset levels of boos and being abled to adjust form inside the cabin. you should ask jekyl or the guys at ATS.

It is entirely possible your system can not flow enough to make 15 psi at higher rpms.
As rpms increase you will need more volumn of air to keep filling the engine at the same psi. If you can not get that volumn, then the psi drops.

If you are on the factory turbo, this is probably what is going on. Also, the OEM turbo is known to fall off after 5500 rpms (roughly), so if you are going much beyond that ... chances are you missed your optimum shift point.

Do you think it could possibly be my bov not closing all the way and letting air back inside the turbo? im just curious as to why this all of the sudden happened and its pissing me off.... i really think it might just be the boost guage or my faulty boost controller i really dont trust that thing.

Do you have an aftermarket BOV?
It is quite possible that your BC is failing.

When I posted above I was not aware that you were driving the car without this problem.

Yes i have an aftermarket blitz bov that came with the car.... Im going to buy another manual boost controller when i get the chance. The turbo xs dual stage boostcontroller i bought has never really worked the high and low setting dosent work it has always remained at 15psi no matter when i hit the switch or not. Any recomendations on what possible boost controller to buy??
