cold air problems

ok, so i pput a cold air intake on today and when i took it for a trest drive when the engine hit the higher RPMs it sounded almost like it was starvin for air.. aanyone else have this problem?????? any sugestions?!?!??!?!?

Are you sure you have not mistaken the noise for the sound of an intake. Not to sound like an ass, but cai's sound much louder than stock and you can literally hear the woosh of air being pulled in to the intake.

If not, do you have a bypass valve installed? You might consider checking the filter for debri. If it is used, it could be a dirty filter.

most likely its just the sound of a regular cold air intake. Yes you can literally hear the air being sucked into the intake, and yes it can make your engine growl a lot more.
