I was reading in my manual about the 4x4 service light and it was saying how it should come on breifly when you turn on the ignition. It also said it will do this to let you know that your 4 wheel drive is working. My question is were is this light located because I havent noticed it when i start my truck because my 4 wheel drive does work. Any any information would be great thanks...

Down right under the center of the dash mine has 4 lights, one for each of, 2 wheel drive, 4 High, N set parking brake, 4 Low.
The first light, 2 Wheel, lights up whenever the engine is running, and the others will light up as you move the 4 Wheel drive shift lever to that position.
Of course I am only familiar with my year model.

Check the 4x4 system fuse.
