1997 intrepid inquiry

Just bought a 1997 Intrepid 3.3. have read over the postings but was wondering if anyone had a quick idea of what I should be looking out for with known problems for this year and engine.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

the engine is fine, no real big trouble issues, only thing that'll need is attention is the tie-rods and steering linkage, they have a tendency to go bad. I don't know the condition of your car's body, but I've seen a lot of 1st gen Intrepids that have really bad oxidation and corrosion on certain body parts.

The body on the car has no rust., she runs real smooth. so far seems like a good deal.
