Engine Swap

I have a 98 wrangler with a 2.5 in it. I am in germany in the army and my engine blew up. I want to put a jeep 4.0 in it. I would like to know if the tranny will match up. If the computer will match up. If anybody has done this before get in touch with me please. I am very limited on what I can get here in germany.

you can do it but you have to replace everything and the brackets for the motor mounts that are welded to the frame are in different locations.so you would probably have an easier time getting another 4 cylinder or repairing yours
