Underoath

Who else here likes Underoath? I just recently got their newer CD and I really like it. For those of you that are into them, are their other CD(s) any good?

Everything before "They're only chasing safety" was recorded with their previous lead singer, the newest CD is with the new one, Spencer Chamberlain. For that reason, the new Cd is different from their old stuff, but its all good. Download a couple sogns to see if you like their older style.

yeah im into underoath... i like their newest style better than their previouse records... they were a little too screamo for me, but u can check it out

seriousley. i fucking love them. so much that i broke my ankle in their mosh pit last month.

but yes, They're Only Chasing Safety is, in my opinion, WAY better then "Changing of the Times". Spencer is a way better lead singer then Dallas was, and they changed a couple other members as well. over-all i think they've got a lot more melody now, and they sing more (not much singing on the old CD's). i seriousley don't see how anyone can not like them, they are so amazingly talented and their songs are just...wow.

so yeah i'm a big fan. i'm going to see them again on the 22nd.

Are you seeing them on the warped tour? I really want to go to it when it comes here (washington), but 1. I can't drive yet and 2. It takes a few hours to get there from where I live :(

I almost went to taste of chaos a week ago, but my parents decided to not let me at the last minute...Underoath wouldn't have been there, but it still would have rocked.

you would've got Saosin in their place though. if you haven't heard of Saosin, i STRONGLY suggest you download some. unfortunatley downloading is about the only way to obtain their stuff right now. all they've come out with so far is a 7-song EP, 3 of which were acoustic versions. so in reality they only have 4 or 5 songs out that i've heard so far, but i can't WAIT for the full-length. if you like Underoath, i guarantee you'll like Saosin.

anyways, i am definitley going to Warped this year. as good as the line-up is though, there's not really any big bands to drag me in...no Taking Back Sunday, no Thursday, no Coheed and Cambria...all of which were on it last year. there IS Underoath, The Bled, Saosin and a couple others i can't remember...but meh. i'm going anyways.

i saw Underoath open for Coheed last October, then saw them at Taste Of Chaos last month. now i'm seeing them on the 22nd with Fear Before The March Of Flames, and then probably at Warped too.

I have heard a few songs from saosin off of myspace and I really like them.

What are your guys favorite songs, and what are the most popular songs. I have heard one or two songs on the radio, but didn't catch what song they were. Thanks

The last song listed is fron thier older album, which I don't think is as good as the afformentioned album

i'm going to see them in 2 days with The Chariot, Fear Before the March of Flames and These Arms are Snakes.

i can't fucking wait.

I'm gonna see them at the warped tour when it comes up to Calgary. I'm so pumped, I've never been to one of their shows before.

this'll be #3 for me, with #4 coming in the summer at warped tour.
